Biography:
As Vice President of Sales for Live Nation, Craig Hoover is instrumental in the development and acquisition of new corporate partners for its National Alliances division which markets the company's network of assets via sponsorships and marketing partnerships. These assets include music venues such as the House of Blues and Fillmore club network and tours of some of the world’s biggest selling artists including The Rolling Stones, U2, The Police and Madonna.
Hoover has been with Live Nation since its inception in December 2005. During this time, he has developed some of the company's largest partnerships including deals with such blue-chip brands as ING, Progressive Insurance, Mars U.S., Red Bull and LG Electronics.
Hoover, 38, has over 15 years experience in sports and entertainment marketing and has worked in all facets of the business from event management to advertising and promotions to sponsorship sales. He began his career in 1993 at ProServ/The Marquee Group before its acquisition by SFX Sports, where he helped spearhead sales for a diverse array of properties.
Hoover graduated from the University of Florida in 1991 with a BS in Finance and received his Master's degree in Education from Georgia State University in 1995. An avid runner, he competed for the University of Florida where he was a member of the Gator track and cross country teams that each captured SEC Championship crowns and was NCAA runner-up in 1989 (track).
Hoover resides in Atlanta with his wife, Kathryn and their son, Ryland.
