Biography:

GRANT HILL
Grant was born and raised in Dallas, Texas in 1972 to parents Calvin and Janet Hill. Grant’s parents taught him how to use his exceptional talents to reach his goals.
After graduating from Duke, Grant was the number one pick by the Detroit Pistons in the 1994 NBA draft. After six All-Star years with the Pistons, Grant moved on, signing with the Orlando Magic in 2000.

Grant started the 2005-2006 NBA season with a renewed hope and a re-built left ankle. At 6’8”, Grant can play point guard, shooting guard and small forward with equal adeptness. In the 2004-2005 season, Grant was named the NBA Sportsmanship Award for his “sportsmanship, ethical behavior, fair play and integrity.”

TAMIA HILL
Tamia is an urban R&B singer/songwriter, who released her self-titled debut album in the spring of 1998. A native of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Tamia got an early start as a teenager in the music industry, singing on "You Put a Move on My Heart," the first single from Quincy Jones' 1994 hit album, Q's Jook Joint. She was nominated for a Grammy for both Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for her duet “Slow Jams” with Babyface.

The following year she sang "Missing You" with Brandy, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan on the soundtrack for the 1995 film “Set It Off.” "Missing You" was also nominated for a Grammy. She has released two additional albums since her debut, which have garnered both critical acclaim and popular success. Tamia, her husband Grant Hill, and their family reside in Orlando.
