For three years in a row, Hillside Elementary in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, has put on a "March is Reading Month" fundraiser for Make-A-Wish. Led by teacher Ilene Varon and the student council, all of the students at the school are challenged to read as many books as they can in the month of March. Using a pledge form to get donations, they have raised a total of over $8000.
