The Make-A-Wish Foundation® National Board of Directors helps chart the Foundation’s course. They contribute a vast array of experience and skills that helps maintain our status as the nation’s largest wish-granting organization.
As a whole, the board determines the Foundation’s mission and vision. It selects, evaluates and supports the president and chief executive officer. The board also protects the Foundation’s assets, enhances its public standing, ensures accountability, maintains legal integrity and assesses its own performance.
Current National Board Members
The Foundation’s top-level management comprises the Senior Leadership Team. Each member is a National Office leader in disciplines that include wish-granting, fundraising, legal, brand advancement and operational activities. The president and CEO guides the group in executing the Foundation’s strategic plan in areas such as board development, talent development, fundraising and corporate relations. The team collaborates with chapters, staff members and volunteers to reach the vision of granting the wish of every eligible child.
