Biography:
Jimmie Johnson was born in El Cajon, California, and graduated from Granite Hills High School. The California native began racing motorcycles at the age of five. Upon graduating from high school, he moved to the Midwest to continue his auto racing career. He is currently in his fifth season as a driver in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.
Chandra Johnson is a native of Muskogee, Okla. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in business communication and moved to New York City where she began a modeling career. Chandra continues her work today while taking on the responsibility of managing the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.
Chandra and Jimmie married in December of 2004 and reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
