The Make-A-Wish Foundation® needs more than 2.5 billion miles, or 50,000 round-trip tickets, to grant wishes each year. Every mile donated helps wish kids and their families travel to destinations around the world. Once donated, your miles will never expire and are used to support wishes across the country. This is just one simple way you can help grant a life-changing wish experience.

Do You Have A Travel Voucher If your voucher is transfer-able and does not expire within 30 days, please contact the national office or your local chapter today.

Other Mileage Programs

Currently, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® does not have formal relationships with airlines not listed above; however, Make-A-Wish® chapters can use transferable airline vouchers or tickets on a case-by-case basis. To find out more about airline voucher or ticket donations, contact the National Office or your local chapter.

Please note: As of January 31, 2009 American Airlines AAdvantage® members will no longer be able to donate their unused miles to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. If you have questions about the AAdvantage program, please contact AAdvantage at (800) 882-8880.

Tax Deductibility

The IRS recognizes award points and miles as a gift or an award from the corporation to the individual. Therefore, points and Frequent Flier miles donated to charity are not considered tax deductible.
