The cast and crew of the hit children’s television show Blue’s Clues have left their paw prints on some wishes that have really raised the woof. The animated Blue and his live-action human pal Joe, played by actor Donovan Patton, are favorites among the younger wish kids.
Five-year-old Ryan learned how dedicated Patton is to the show’s fans – Patton dropped into Ryan’s Blue’s Clues-themed party clad in his famous orange rugby shirt. Patton is following in a fine Blue’s Clues tradition: Original host Steve Burns was presented with the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s 1999 Celebrity Wish Granter of the Year award.

Joe made a very special little girl VERY happy when she got her wish. My little sister met him several years ago in New York. He has touched her life so profoundly that she still talks about it today. He spent several hours with her...talking, reading, and sharing stories. This shows a lot of character on his behalf...my sister cannot talk. She communicates only with her eyes (up is yes, down is no). What a way to make her feel like the most important person in the world. Thank you!

HOW SWEET! I used to watch Blues Clues myself as a little girl and Steve was always my favorite. This shows Joe has good heart and cares about the kids.
