A wish kid’s dream to get a lesson from Carlos Santana struck just the right chord with the guitar master. 15-year-old Tyler visited Santana at his studio in northern California for a one-on-one session with the rock ‘n’ roll legend. Santana imparted some guitar wisdom before getting behind a drum kit so they could add some rhythm to their jam.

After their jam session, Tyler ate lunch with his new teacher and the office staff. Santana.com recounted the end of the day by writing, “Tyler left with a big smile and more Santana merchandise than he could carry. It was a very emotional experience for everyone involved.”

  • It is so wonderful to see big names like Santana offering help for kids like this. With all the celebrity gossip, etc., out there we very seldom hear of the good things that some celebs actually do. Kudos to Make-A-Wish and to Santana and all other celebrities that have helped make wishes come true.
