When wish granters from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® asked 6-year-old Becca what she wanted for her wish, the cheerful youngster was quick to answer she wanted to go to Disney’s theme park in Orlando, Fla.

At Walt Disney World®, Becca and her family stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Park. There, they enjoyed the wonder and excitement of the attractions, shows, and animals – real and imagined. Becca even got to see animals right outside her hotel window! DisneyHand, worldwide outreach for The Walt Disney Company, provided assistance in helping make Becca’s wish come true.

In a thank-you letter to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Becca’s parents wrote, “Everything was so well organized and planned. It really was a wish come true for Becca.”

Becca’s wish to go to Walt Disney World® was funded by Saputo Cheese USA as part of its ongoing sponsorship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Throughout the year, Saputo will contribute five cents to the Foundation for each purchase of Frigo® Cheese Heads® brand snack cheeses, with a guaranteed donation of $200,000. Saputo will grant six wishes in connection with its promotion. Becca’s wish was the first wish sponsored by Saputo.

The day before Becca’s trip, Saputo Cheese USA and Vons grocery store teamed up to throw a send-off party for Becca. The two companies hosted a celebration complete with appetizers, sandwiches, refreshments, and cheesecake – Becca’s favorite.

During the party, Becca was presented with her plane tickets, travel itinerary, and gifts for her trip to Orlando. She was also presented with a $50 Vons gift card and had the opportunity to do some shopping at Vons where she bought herself a bouquet of roses and her favorite snacks.
