Savannah, I can't think of another kid who deserves this other than you. You seem intelligent, respectful, nice, honest, etc. You are my hero, and your younger! Haha. Good luck.
It is truly amazing what people can do. I am an 11 year old fascinated with these stories, I have probably read all of them. I tear up a bit knowing that a child's wish is coming true. This is by far, the best charity i've ever seen.
Congrats Make-A-Wish, and good luck Caroline.
God Bless
Having worked for Steve Jobs several times I don't find this surprising at all. He is truly a heartfelt and passionate man. While he can be abrasive at times, his love of life and desire to make a difference is something we can all learn from. So too can we learn from Jason and the other wish kids....
My daughter is getting a playhouse through Make-A-Wish. She is a leukemia patient at St. Jude . I hope hers will be this nice. Her's will be log cabin style.
You put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. Make-A-Wish is great and any one involved needs to know what a truly amazing thing they are doing. I am grateful to you all.
This is the first story I clicked on. I was taken aback when I saw your name was Dayna and it is spelled like mine. We are about the same age. You are an amazing inspiration to me. I am thankful you are in remission. Thanks for sharing your story, and thanks for having the courage to live out loud.
Oshyn still plays in that Rocket day and night...We had a very difficult time keeping him out during the winter months...Thank You again for such an amazing gift for such an amazing child....
