Eloise dreams of living like royalty. Thanks to dozens of volunteers and people in the community who became enchanted with this little princess, Eloise now resides in a majestic castle.
One day when Eloise and her mother Celia were looking through Traditional Home magazine, Eloise came across a beautiful photograph of a little girl's bedroom. She was immediately captivated with the bedroom, specifically the 600-pound bed, constructed in the shape of a castle. That was her wish come true, right there in the magazine.
Marie Christine Peterson, the designer of the bed, was so moved by Eloise's wish that she immediately agreed to recreate a bed just for her. Interior designer Sharon Williamson spent more than 80 hours painting the castle room and, with Eloise's help, added a few special touches like Belle, a sword-wielding mouse to protect Eloise every night when she goes to bed, and Eloise's own hand-painted rocks.
It took more than a year to complete Eloise's bedroom, and in the end, the magic of a wish prevailed. Eloise was already royalty in the eyes of her dad, but by the time Eloise's wish was completed, many people could say they had been graced by a 4-year-old princess.
