As a past recipient of the kindness and generosity of the people of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, I can vouch for the fact that they go out of their way to make sure the recipients are given their Wish and then some.
This is just great. My son was recently granted a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and your last sentence says it all. Having those horrible memories of pain and bravery but then taking my Wish Child to someplace fun and seeing all that joy brings peace to my heart.

I love horses too. I have always dreamed of going horseback riding. I never went real horseback riding, but I sat on the horse and it was in a controlled environment. I am twenty three years old. I hope to have my own horse some day.
