Seventeen and the Make-A-Wish Foundation collaborated to make Julia's wish to appear in the popular magazine come true. You can see the result of her special day in the September issue, with cover model Katy Perry, on newsstands now.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation sent the Michigan teenager to New York City, where she was treated to an exclusive photo shoot and a visit with the Seventeen staff to tell her story. Julia's photo and first-person wish account appear on p. 170, which also includes an interview with Make-A-Wish^® supporter Ashley Tisdale. Ashley talks about her desire to meet wish kids “no matter where I am” and give them the chance to have fun for a day.
