Billy Boyd may have played a height-challenged Hobbit in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but he stands tall among celebrity wish granters. The Glaswegian actor has thrilled wish kids with stories about filming the epic movies and gifts of one-of-kind memorabilia.

Wish kid Rebecca, a 13-year-old from Illinois, met Boyd over dinner at an exclusive Hollywood restaurant. The next day, she spend some more time with Billy at a photo shoot he was conducting for Premiere magazine. Billy Boyd’s managers contacted Entertainment Tonight regarding Rebecca’s wish, and ET presented her with the opportunity to interview Boyd at the photo shoot. Rebecca displayed the poise of a seasoned professional when she interviewed Boyd. At the photo shoot, all of the Hobbits from Lord of the Rings presented Rebecca with a special pin that only they wear in the film.
