Recording and releasing a country music album seemed a far-fetched dream to Frankie and his family until the Make-A-Wish Foundation® got involved. Thanks to the hard work of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia & Alabama, Frankie was able to record his music in a real studio – accompanied by professional musicians. He later performed live at a CD release party, complete with paparazzi, security, and adoring fans. He even left the stage with the crowd begging for more!

“When I saw the expression on Frankie’s face as he performed, I knew it was the proudest moment of his life. All his pain and worries about his heart were a thousand miles away,” said Mike, Frankie’s dad.

Frankie’s recording of his original song “Eva” is a hit. In every note, Frankie’s positive can-do attitude shines through. Maybe that’s because, at 11 years old, Frankie has already been through so much. Multiple heart operations and lengthy recuperations have kept him from the sports, parties, and school outings other kids take for granted.

One of the best parts of Frankie’s music is that you can download and listen to his single “Eva” for free right here. Then watch the video of Frankie’s wonderful experience as his wish came true. This country crooner wants to share his talent and have people everywhere enjoy his music. Take a listen and prove once again that dreams can come true.

According to Frankie’s Dad, by watching and listening, you will share the power of a wish®: “Frankie’s wish gives our entire family hope,” explained Mike.

Update to Frankie’s Wish: Frankie will be the opening act for country music star David Kersh at a concert in Columbus, Ga. on July 31, 2004. Frankie will make his big-stage premiere in front of thousands of military personnel stationed at Fort Benning’s Wetherby Field as part of the Miller Lite Army Concert Tour’s Honky Tonk Tailgate Party. Frankie’s experience will include media interviews, sound checks, and “meet and greet” opportunities with David and other country music stars.

  • Frankie, I've been writing country songs for many years. I'm 61 years now (breast cancer mets), and I'm so impressed with your lyrics, your phrasing, your timing, music and lyrics. I'm a lyric and melody person. Your Eva is a hit song If I ever heard one. Your parents, I'm sure, are thrilled with your talents and so proud of you. Bet those musicians were shocked at the fact that you REALLY CAN WRITE and sing too! Should you want to listen to my originals, I have six of them on myspace under myspace.com/lindalavonne and myspace.com/lindasublettoriginals I'm anxious to hear your whole album. I'm praying for your well-being and huge music career as a songwriter (even if you decide to become president or a doctor, a fire chief or a lawyer at some time in your future). My nephew has a site, toddbolton.com, and he is in the Nashville area. I'm going to tell him about you. He was your age when he wrote his first country song too. Don't forget to add the www before the sites I told you about. Keep writing my new songwriter friend. Have FUN FUN FUN!!! Linda
