This wish story makes me feel:

Twelve-year-old Lacy wasn't a Martha Stewart fan until therapy kept her at home and in front of a television. As Lacy worked to regain her health, she developed a strong attachment to the "Martha Stewart Living" show. When volunteers from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of the TexasGulfCoast offered her a wish, she chose to meet the home decorating and cooking guru.

As wish granters arranged for Lacy to meet Stewart, the 7th grader got to share her experience with many other people. That's because Lacy appeared on the "Martha Stewart Living" show as a guest. The teenager got to make cupcakes and learned about May Day flowers from her mentor. Afterwards, show officials gave Lacy supplies to make her own cupcakes at home.

Now Lacy participates in extracurricular activities like swimming, tae kwon do, and her church's youth group. When she decides to head home for a breather, she can channel all that energy toward home improvements.
