I think that it is so wonderful that this kid got a sweet 17 party when she didn't get a sweet 16. I love to hear about children who get their wishes.

That is wonderful that she wanted to see the place where her mom grew up. The part where she said her nannie made her jam sandwiches made me tear up because my late nannie would make me the same thing and we would have our own tea party!
