Katie-- Your wish is so inspiring! I myself was diagnosed when I was 16 with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma and found it extremely difficult to concentrate on getting better and keeping a high spirit. Thinking about my trip to the Caribbean Islands gave me something other than cancer to think about and allowed my mind to get away from all the trouble for a while. I am really inspired by your internship with your Make-A-Wish Foundation and would really like to get into something similar here in South Dakota. I am currently looking into Human Developments at college so that I may work with Cure Kids Cancer in the future! Thank you so much for your great story and I wish you the best in your future years!
