Jaeda’s wish to be a Coast Guard rescue swimmer gave her a glimpse of her potential. Though she lives daily with the effects of cystic fibrosis, she withstood two days of training with Coast Guard crews at the USCG Aviation Training Center – including jumping from a hovering helicopter into the ocean.

Symbolic Giving Comes to Summer of 5,000 WishesSM
The Summer of 5000 Wishes campaign now includes the Foundation’s first symbolic-giving effort. Donors can help grant wishes by selecting a specific element of a wish they would like to help fund, e.g. donating $10 for sunblock or $80 for hotel fees for a travel wish.
